The Answer debut album "RISE" was released in the UK on June 26th and in the last five months has soared to 18,000 sales in UK. The album entered the UK Independent album chart at Number 5, Number 8 in the national album rock chart and garnered superb press accolades such as "best rock debut of a decade" (Classic Rock) and "as fresh and invigorating as any debut album in living memory" (Kerrang! KKKKK).

Throw in a Kerrang! Award nomination for Best British newcomer 2006 and a Classic Rock Awards nomination for Album Of The Year 2006 as well as peer praise from the likes of Jimmy Page, David Coverdale and Paul Rogers.

With the surge in the band's profile many labels lined up to ink deals for overseas distribution and The Answer have confirmed license agreements and releases with PIAS (pan Europe), Albert/SonyBmg (Australasia), WHD Entertainment Inc. (Japan/South East Asia/ China) and Next Music (South Africa). Total worldwide sales are now just over 40,000.

With 50,000 international album sales expected prior to Christmas, the band are set for a storming 2007 with worldwide touring, promotion and further single releases.
